NCAA Basketball Rankings 2012: Kentucky Moves To No. 1 In AP Poll

The latest AP Top 25 Poll is out and the Kentucky Wildcats are the No. 1 team there as well. They received 61 of 65 first place votes while the Syracuse Orange, the former No. 1 team, kept two first place votes and fell to just No. 3. The Missouri Tigers took the remaining two first place votes and the No. 2 ranking.

The 20-0 Murray St. Racers improved by just one spot, moving from No. 12 to No. 11. They are the only undefeated team remaining. The UNLV Rebels and the San Diego St. Aztecs are ranked Nos. 12 and 13, respectively. There are no Pac-12 teams in the Top 25 once again and none even receiving a smattering of votes below the Top 25 cutoff line.
