The Northern Colorado Bears fell to 6-12 on Saturday evening after losing, 84-72, to the Montana St. Bobcats. The loss left the Bears at 3-4 in Big Sky competition and in a three-way tie for fifth place. The Bears have now lost back-to-back games against the Montana schools.
Mike Proctor led the the Bears with 14 points and eight rebounds. Elliott Lloyd and Emmanuel Addo each added 13 points while Tevin Svihovec put in 12 points. The team shot 52 percent from the field but nailed just five of 14 three pointers.
The Bobcats, however, sank 13 of 29 three-pointers, including four from leading Michael Dison. He had a game-high 17 points. Four others scored at least 10 points. Tre Johnson had 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
The Bears visit the Idaho St. Bengals on Thursday.
