Rose Bowl 2012 Score: Oregon Ducks Defeat Wisconsin Badgers In A Thriller, 45-38

Wisconsin and Oregon couldn't quite maintain the scoring pace they'd established in the first half, but the final two quarters still saw plenty of scoring. Oregon's defense did a better job against Wisconsin's power rushing game after the break and picked up a decisive fumble recovery late in the fourth quarter that helped propel the team to a 45-38 win over Wisconsin.

The Badgers appeared to be on their way to a game-tying touchdown when Russell Wilson hit Jared Abbrederis for a 29-yard completion that moved the ball to the Oregon 30 with about four minutes to go, but Abbrederis was stripped at the sideline and the ball improbably settled right at the boundary, where an opportunistic Ducks defender hopped on it.

Oregon picked up a first down on its ensuing possession, and with only one timeout, there wasn't much Wisconsin could do to save time. By the time the Badgers got the ball back, there were less than 30 seconds left, and while Russell Wilson was able to move the football, he ultimately ran out of time.

Wilson finished 19-26 for 296 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also ran one in for a score.
