A game featuring two of the nation's best offenses has lived up to the billing thus far, as neither the Wisconsin Badgers nor the Oregon Ducks have had trouble making big plays or putting up points.
Wisconsin got the scoring started with a 38-yard play-action pass from Russell Wilson to Jared Abbrederis, and it took less than two-and-a-half minutes for the Ducks to drive down the field and answer with a short touchdown run by LaMichael James.
Wilson gave the Badgers a 14-7 lead with this run:
Wilson, the former Rockies prospect, finished the quarter 4-6 for 80 yards and a score through the air.
Oregon tied the score on a Rose Bowl-record 91 yard touchdown run by De'Anthony Thomas late in the quarter. The two teams already have combined for over 350 yards.
