The 2009 NFL head coaching class is almost all gone as a result of firings over the last couple of years. This season alone, the Kansas City Chiefs left go of Todd Haley, the St. Louis Rams fired Steve Spagnuolo and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers let go Raheem Morris.
↵Let's look at the others: Jim Mora lasted just one season with the Seattle Seahawks; Josh McDaniels failed to make it through two seasons with the Denver Broncos; Eric Mangini completed two season with the Cleveland Browns; Mike Singletary coached all but the last game of the 2010 season; and Tom Cable, interim coach in 2008, lasted two seasons as permanent head coach for the Oakland Raiders.
↵That leaves the Indianapolis Colts' Jim Caldwell (for now), the New York Jets' Rex Ryan and the Detroit Lions' Jim Schwartz. How can Rex Ryan be one of the winners in all of this!?
