College Football Rankings 2011: LSU Tops AP Poll

LSU is the new No. 1 in the AP poll and Oklahoma retains the No. 1 spot in the coaches poll.

The latest college football AP poll is out and LSU is the new No. 1 after their 47-21 win over West Virginia. The Boise St. Broncos lost a first-place vote following their 41-21 win over Tulsa on Saturday night. The Stanford Cardinal dropped to No. 5 and were surpassed by Oklahoma St. Cowboys, who defeated then-No. 8 Texas A&M Aggies while the Cardinal were on a bye.

The TCU Horned Frogs stayed at No. 20 after their victory over Portland State and the Arizona St. Sun Devils made the poll after their 43-22 drubbing over the USC Trojans, who fell out of the poll with the loss.
