Mountain West Football Results, Week 4: Nebraska Defeats Wyoming; Air Force, Colorado State Victorious

Both the Air Force Falcons and the Colorado St. Rams picked up wins to counteract their losses in previous weeks. The Falcons easily handled the Tennessee State Tigers by piling up a nearly 800 yards of total offense. The Colorado State Rams needed double overtime, but they sent Utah State home with a 35-34 loss.

San Diego State lost to previous head coach Brady Hoke and his Michigan Wolverines. They are no longer undefeated.

No. 20 TCU Horned Frogs (3-1) def. Portland St. Vikings (2-1), 55-13:  After going down 3-0 to start the game, TCU went on to score 41 points before the Vikings added another field goal. Casey Pachall threw three touchdown passes and Waymon James rushed for 136 yards and one touchdown (he also returned a kickoff for an 82-yard touchdown).

Sam Houston St. (3-0) def. New Mexico Lobos (0-4), 48-45 (OT): At least they took the Bearkats to overtime?

No. 9 Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-0) def. Wyoming Cowboys (3-1), 38-14: Rex Burkhead picked up 170 yards and two touchdowns on the ground for Nebraska.

Boise St. Broncos (3-0) def. Tulsa Golden Hurricane (1-3), 41-21: Kellen Moore threw four touchdown passes and picked up his 41st career victory. 

Southern Utah Thunderbirds (3-1) def. UNLV Rebels (1-3), 41-16: Southern Utah put up 31 straight points during the middle of the game.
