It wasn't a banner day passing for Michigan Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson, but his legs more than made up for things against the previously undefeated San Diego State Aztecs. The Wolverines moved to 4-0 with a 28-7 victory. Robinson single-handedly defeated the Aztecs with 21 carries for 200 yards and three touchdowns. He was just 8-of-17 for 93 yards and two interceptions.
Robinson had scored his three touchdowns in the first half and had the Wolverines up, 21-0, at halftime. San Diego State quarterback Ryan Lindley did find Colin Lockett for a 16-yard touchdown pass with four second left in the third quarter, but that was all the offense for the Aztecs. Ronnie Hillman had 109 yards on the ground without any touchdowns.
San Diego State will have another tough test as they host the TCU Horned Frogs. It will be San Diego State's first MWC game of the season.
