The 3-0 San Diego St. Aztecs are on the verge of cracking the Top 25 and a victory over the No. 22 Michigan Wolverines could wind up switching both teams in the poll. What makes this matchup even more intriguing is that Brady Hoke is on the Michigan sideline as the head coach, whereas he was just San Diego State's head coach last season.
Hoke's guided Michigan to a 3-0 start with quarterback Denard Robinson playing a huge part in that run. Robinson was particularly vital in defeating Notre Dame, 35-31, with four touchdown passes, including the game-winner with two seconds left on the clock.
Hoke also built the current Aztecs team, which is led by Rocky Long. Quarterback Ryan Lindley has thrown for seven touchdown passes while running back Ronnie Hillman has 497 yards on the ground and eight touchdowns. Hillman had four in last week's victory over the Washington St. Cougars.
