College Football Rankings 2011: Boise State No. 4 In AP Poll

Boise State comes in No. 4 in both the AP and coaches poll.

The latest college football AP poll has been released today and most of the changes came from the bottom of the poll, as teams ranked No. 21 - No. 25 were not ranked the prior week. Clemson, Michigan, USC, Illinois and Georgia Tech filled those spots. At the top of the poll the Oklahoma Sooners kept their No. 1 ranking after defeating the Florida St. Seminoles, 23-13.

Boise State stayed the same in the AP poll at the No. 4 spot after their 40 - 15 route over the Toledo Rockets Friday night, but overall they did gain two more points from last week. TCU moved up as well after they came back to defeat Louisiana-Monroe, 38-17. They moved up from No. 23 to No. 20.

The San Diego St. Aztecs are moving into consideration in the AP poll with eight points after they defeated Washington St. Cougars, 42-24, to start 3-0 for the first time since 1981.

Air Force, who takes on Navy in two weeks, appeared in the poll by receiving three points after their near upset over South Carolina. The Gamecocks dropped in the this week's poll after a close win to No. 13.
