Boise State Vs. Toledo Starts Mountain West's Week 3 Schedule

The Boise St. Broncos visit the Toledo Rockets, who gave Ohio St. a scare last weekend.

The Boise St. Broncos pay a visit to the Toledo Rockets after a week off. The No. 4 Broncos opened the season with a convincing win over the Georgia Bulldogs. Kellen Moore threw three touchdown passes in the victory. He'll look to repeat that performance in his second game against the Rockets.

In 2010, the Broncos won in a laugher against the Rockets at home, 57-14. Moore, who threw three touchdowns, had the Broncos up by 50 points early in the fourth quarter before the Rockets finally found the end zone some 45 minutes or so later.

But the Broncos will face a much different Rockets team this time around. They played the Ohio St. Buckeyes to the very edge of victory last Saturday. They led, 22-21, early in the third quarter, but allowed a late touchdown that period to lose the lead, 27-22. As SB Nation points out, Eric Page is a wide receiver the Broncos will need to look out for this game. The Hustle Belt thinks this will be much closer than the odds-makers seem to think, but does fear the Broncos' defensive work against the Bulldogs: six sacks.

This game can be seen on ESPN at 6:00 p.m. MT. Catch all the action at the Glass Bowl then.
