Wisconsin's Russell Wilson Dismantles Oregon State In 35-0 Victory

Ex-Rockie and current Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Russell Wilson is taking the college football world by storm for the second week in a row. After last week's two touchdown pass, one rushing touchdown performance against UNLV, Wilson turned to the Oregon St. Beavers, who lost last week in overtime to Sacramento State.

Wilson alone outscored the the Beavers, 21-0. The final score was 35-0. In the first half, Wilson threw three touchdown passes and averaged 9.0 yards per attempt. Running back Montee Ball added the other two touchdowns.

The same caveat as last week applies: these performances are against weak teams. Can he do this against the likes of Nebraska, Michigan State and Ohio State? He should have relatively easy games against Northern Illinois and South Dakota over the next two weeks.

Ah, if only Wilson could have performed the equivalent of this on the baseball diamond. . . .
