Utah Kicks Off Pac-12 College Football Schedule; Arizona State Starts As Well

The first season of Pac-12 NCAA football begins on Thursday with the Utah Utes and the Arizona St. Sun Devils playing games on Thursday.

The 2011 college football season is finally here and on Thursday one of the newest members of the Pac-12 will begin play. The Utah Utes host the Montana St. Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. MT. Block U has been waiting a year for this move and now they are pumped for things to finally get started:

This season is going to be one for the books, folks. I'm sure it's going to have wild swings, hair-pulling performances and nausea-inducing moments. But while history is rarely pretty, it's often very exciting.

The Utes will rely heavily on quarterback Jordan Wynn this season, and there's some thought that he might just wind up as the best quarterback in school history.

A  few hours later at 8:00 p.m. MT, the Arizona St. Sun Devils kick off with a game against Division I FCS team UC Davis in Tempe, Az.  The Sun Devils face an Aggies team that will move to the Big Sky Conference in 2012, where the Northern Colorado Bears play. Quarterback Brock Osweiler will finally get a chance to lead this team while Vontaze Burfict leads the defense.
