Todd Helton Hits 550th Career Double

Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton reached another milestone in his storied career, hitting his 550th career double off St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Kyle Lohse in the top of the 4th inning.

With that double, Helton moves to within 22 doubles of tying Washington Nationals catcher Ivan Rodriguez for the lead amongst active players. Helton currently sits 24th historically, and only 10 behind Jeff Kent and Eddie Murray for 22nd overall in career doubles.
