The 2011 U.S. Women's Open picked up on Friday morning with Round 1 to complete. Entering the day, Cristie Kerr and amateur Amy Anderson shared the lead at 2-under, but only the latter continues to be in the lead. However, Anderson shares the top spot with eight others at 1-under, bogeying the 15th hole to lose a stroke. Karrie Webb is one of those co-leaders, but four others just started their rounds.
Kerr made back-to-back bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes to lose her lead. She'll look to improve on that in Round 2 later today.
Mariel Galdiano, 13-years-old, is at 14-over through 17 holes. She needed seven strokes to finish the par-3 17th. Paula Creamer and Yani Tseng are just getting underway.
