MLB All-Star Game 2011: Troy Tulowitzki Singles With NL Leading, 4-1

The NL All-Stars lead the AL All-Stars in the 2011 MLB All-Star Game, 4-1. Prince Fielder's three-run home run in the fourth inning put the first NL runs on the board. Fielder made up for a poor catch in the top of the frame. In the fifth inning, Andre Ethier drove in Rickie Weeks, but Ethier was thrown out at second while trying to extend the play. The AL had the lead first when Adrian Gonzalez homered for the 1-0 lead.

C.J. Wilson was charged with the three runs put across home plate by Fielder, while Jordan Walden allowed the other one.

Troy Tulowitzki singled over the head of 2B Howie Kendrick to right center field. He left the game for pinch-runner Starlin Castro. Eventually, Castro found his way to home plate, only to be tagged out.
