The 2011 College World Series resumes on Tuesday morning with the completion of Florida-Vandy after weather forced, first, a delay and then a postponement. Preston Tucker's three-run home run for the Gators remains the difference in the 3-1 contest. The game picks up at 9 a.m. MT.
Which team in the 2011 CWS will join the Texas Longhorns on the sidelines for the remainder of the tournament? The California Bears and the Texas A&M Aggies will play in an elimination game on Tuesday afternoon. Cal lost to Virginia following ace pitcher Danny Hultzen's performance. The Aggies lost on a walk-off hit by South Carolina 2B Scott Wingo in the bottom of the ninth.
Virginia and South Carolina square off in the nightcap. South Carolina is still in the hunt to repeat as College World Series champions. With center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. returning to the team after a wrist injury, his injection into the lineup could be the difference maker.
