2011 NHL Playoffs: Conference Finals Schedule Released

After the San Jose Sharks finally defeated the Detroit Red Wings in Game Seven, the schedule for the 201 NHL Playoffs Conference Finals can finally be set. With only four teams still alive in the postseason, we're only privy to one game a night (at best). Let's hope they are good ones.

All times listed are Eastern.

Eastern Conference

The Boston Bruins swept their archrivals from Philadelphia and will hold home-ice advantage against the Tampa Bay Lightning, who dominated their Southeast Division rival Washington Capitals.

Game 1: at Boston -- Saturday, May 14 at 8 p.m. on VERSUS, CBC
Game 2: at Boston -- Tuesday, May 17 at 8 p.m. on VERSUS, CBC
Game 3: at Tampa Bay -- Thursday, May 19 at 8 p.m. on VERSUS, CBC
Game 4: at Tampa Bay -- Saturday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. on NBC, TSN
Game 5*: at Boston -- Monday, May 23 at 8 p.m. on VERSUS, CBC
Game 6*: at Tampa Bay -- Wednesday, May 25 at 8 p.m. on VERSUS, CBC
Game 7*: at Boston -- Friday, May 27 at 8 p.m. on VERSUS, CBC

Western Conference

The Vancouver Canucks defeated a tough opponent in Nashville, only to face an offensive juggernaut in the San Jose Sharks, who barely avoided a historic series collapse against the Detroit Red Wings. These two teams finished at the top of the Western Conference standings this year, and will play for a berth in the Stanley Cup Finals.
