If there's one thing Colorado Rockies fans will remember about Mike Hampton (outside of that awful contract and the resulting performance), it's that the Colorado school systems played a large part in signing with the team. Well, now add LeBron James to the list of "I came here because of the school systems" (sort of):

Real funny, LeBron. James famously said during his live decision show in July 2010, "I'm taking my talents to South Beach," when he announced the Miami Heat his signing destination. But there have been allegations that Dwyane Wade participated in tampering before James became a free agent.
