Timberwolves Vs. Nuggets: Will Denver Take The Season Series As Minnesota Plays Without Kevin Love?

With just three games left in the regular season, the Denver Nuggets are looking at the fifth spot in the Western Conference playoffs. The Minnesota Timberwolves, however, are tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the worst record in the league at 17-62. And just like the last few games for the T'Wolves, Kevin Love will not play due to an injured groin.

The Nuggets will look to sweep the four-game season series with a win on Saturday night. The Nuggets won the first contest back in December in a close 115-113 contest, and that was with Kevin Love scoring 43 points and pulling down 17 rebounds. Love put up another double-double (26 points, 14 rebounds) in another losing effort at the end of December. And to sound like a broken record again, Kevin Love scored 18 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in a February loss. Without Love around, how well will the Wolves do?

Minnesota enters the game with a 12-game losing streak that stretches back to March 13. The Nuggets, meanwhile, play this game having dropped two games to the Oklahoma City Thunder, their likely first-round opponent, this past week.

Wilson Chandler will not be in the lineup tonight due to his injured ankle.

Tip-off is 7:00 p.m. MT at the Pepsi Center.
