Nuggets Vs. Clippers: Can Denver Make It Six Wins Since The All-Star Break?

The Denver Nuggets are back at it again following their Thursday night win over the Utah Jazz (including the controversial Andrei Kirilenko-Kenyon Martin play to end the game). The Nuggets have won three games in a row and five of their six games since the All-Star Break. The Clippers, though, are just 1-5 in that same span and traded Baron Davis to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Nuggets have won two of three games against the Clippers so far, but they still need to contend with Blake Griffin, who has averaged 21.7 points and 13.3 rebounds against them. Still, this new Nuggets team has learned to play a bit of defense with the additions of Wilson Chandler and Raymond Felton (Danilo Gallinari is still out with a big toe injury and Timofey Mozgov and Kosta Koufos have played sparingly).

Chandler has assumed the small forward starting role and has averaged 14.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in five games. Felton has come off the bench with 8.4 points, 6.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds since the trade.

Tipoff is schedule for 8:30 p.m. MT at the Staples Center
