Nebraska Cornhuskers Vs. Colorado Buffaloes: Last Ever Regular Season Big 12 Game Between Teams

Today marks the end of Big 12 regular season play for the Colorado Buffaloes and the Nebraska Cornhuskers--ever. The Buffaloes head to the Pac-12 in the fall and the 'Huskers make the move to the Big 10. Buffs seniors Trent Beckley, Javon Coney, Cory Higgins, Levi Knutson and Marcus Relphorde will play their last regular season games, as well.

Tickets for this Coos Event Center game have been sold out, the fifth time it has happened this season. Those who will attend the game will receive thank you t-shirts. As that last link points out, 850 KOA will broadcast the game, the first time it has done so since 1983. There will be no television coverage of this game.

The Buffaloes remain among the first four teams out in the Bubble Watch for the NCAA Tournament. A win would keep them on the bubble with a 19-12 overall record and an 8-8 Big 12 record. However, a run at the Big 12 tournament championship is probably the only way the team will enter the NCAA Tournament. Buffs would likely head to the NIT if they don't make the field of 68.

The 'Huskers defeated the Buffs, 79-67, on Jan. 18, and defeated No. 24 Missouri on Tuesday. The Buffs dropped their Wednesday game to the Iowa St. Cyclones, 95-90. Momentum appears to be on Nebraska's side.

Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. MT.
