NCAA Bracket Update 2011: Florida Downs UCLA, 73-65

The No. 2 Florida Gators pulled away from the No. 7 UCLA Bruins in the final one-and-one-half minutes of play to win, 73-65. The Gators had only a one-point lead, 66-65, after UCLA's Joshua Smith made a layup. However, Erving Walker sank a three-pointer 15 seconds later and then made four free throws when the Bruins went into foul mode.

Walker led the Gators with 21 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and making eight of ten free throws. Alex Tyus was around the glass all day with a game-high 13 rebounds.

The Bruins had four of their five starters score in double digits. Reeves Nelson led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Joshua Smith added 16 points and grabbed six boards. Tyler Honeycutt put 13 points on the board, blocked four shots, dished the ball out for four assists, pulled down three rebounds and stole the ball twice.

The Gators will play the winner of tonight's game at the Pepsi Center between No. 3 BYU and No. 11 Gonzaga.
