Out with a broken left big toe since Feb. 25, Danilo Gallinari will be in uniform Friday night for the Denver Nuggets, reports Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post. Gallinari will come off the bench when the team plays the Orlando Magic in the Amway Center while Wilson Chandler will be the team's small forward in this game and Saturday's game against the Miami Heat.
The Nuggets have gone 10-2 since the team acquired Gallinari as part of the trade package for Carmelo Anthony. The team has won their last three road games and two on their current four-game road trip. Ever slowly, the Nuggets are creeping up to a .500 road record, currently 14-20.
This game is the completion of a home-and-home series for 2011. The Nuggets won the Dec. 14 contest, 111-94, on the strength of Carmelo Anthony's 35 points.
The Magic, however, have found consistency in alternating wins and losses. In their last five games, they have gone 3-2, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime on Wednesday.
Tip-off comes at 5:00 p.m. MT, and Altitude will have the broadcast.
