Nuggets Vs. Hawks: Arron Afflalo Returns As Denver Looks For Another Road Win

When the Denver Nuggets take the court with the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, Arron Afflalo will be on the court once again. According to Aaron J. Lopez, Afflalo will return to action following a hamstring injury that kept him out of the last three games. The Nuggets won all three games in convincing fashion, and two of them were on the road in Phoenix and New Orleans.

Ty Lawson and Raymond Felton led the Nuggets to a 114-103 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Monday by combining for 45 points and 22 assists. Wilson Chandler and J.R. Smith added 21 points and 18 points, respectively. That win was the team's eighth since the All-Star break--or since the Carmelo Anthony trade since both occurred in the same time frame.

Like the Nuggets, the Hawks also hold the fifth spot in their conference. The hawks are on a two-game winning streak (victories over Portland and Milwaukee), but lost the four before that to a tough group of teams that included the Bulls and the Lakers.

The Nuggets won their previous matchup on Feb. 28, 100-90. This will be their final contest of the regular season when they tip off at 5:00 p.m. MT.
