Colorado State Vs. Wyoming: Rams Can Not Afford A Loss In Today's Border War

The Colorado St. Rams travel to take on the Wyoming Cowboys in part two of the Border War. The Rams won the first contest, but that was played at Moby Arena and when the Rams travel on the road they are a bad team. Their record away from Moby Arena is a mediocre 5-5 and that could hurt them if the Rams are to make a run at an NCAA Tournament at-large selection.

Colorado State is on the bubble because of their 3-5 record against teams in the top 100 of the RPI, and then toss in two very bad losses to Hampton and Sam Houston State. Their best win is actually a road win over UNLV who currently has an RPI rating of 30.

Today's matchup against Wyoming is not going to be easy as the Cowboys have already knocked of New Mexico at home back on

The Rams will need Andy Ogide and Travis Franklin to have big games today. On the season, Ogide is averaging 16.2 point, 7.7 rebounds and is shooting 58% from the field, while Franklin is nearly up to 15 points per game. If those two can play up to their abilities there is no reason for Colorado State to lose today, but if they do somehow fall then they can almost for sure kiss good-bye an at-large NCAA tournament berth.
