2011 Daytona 500: Start Time, Lineup And Choosing Who To Root For

The biggest NASCAR race of the season occurs on Sunday, Feb. 20: the Daytona 500. That's what SB Nation's NASCAR expert Jeff Gluck writes in his unofficial list of top NASCAR races. For someone like me who knows very little about NASCAR, the Daytona 500 is one of the few things I recognize. That it falls into the dead zone of sports between the end of the Super Bowl and the start of Spring Training MLB games shouldn't be too surprising. It would barely register for me at any other time.

The race will be televised on FOX at 11:00 a.m. MT. The complete starting lineup can be found here. Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the pole but then lost it after he crashed his car. He will now move to the back of the lineup.

If you are just getting into NASCAR or want to root for a particular driver to win the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Jeff Gluck also has you covered. He has a NASCAR Rootability Rating. I'm going with Greg Biffle to win.

Make sure you visit SB Nation NASCAR for their coverage of the Daytona 500 all day Sunday.
