College Basketball Rankings: Kentucky Stays At No. 1; Harvard Enters AP Poll While UNLV Drops Out

The Kentucky Wildcats remain at No. 1 in the AP Poll, while the UNLV Rebels dropped out and the Harvard Crimson entered at No. 25.

The Kentucky Wildcats remain the No. 1 team in the AP Top 25 basketball poll after defeating the North Carolina Hurricanes. The Ohio St. Buckeyes, the Syracuse Orange, North Carolina and the Louisville Cardinals round out the top five.

The No. 7 Duke Blue Devils host the Colorado St. Rams on Wednesday.

The UNLV Rebels had been in the poll last week after defeating then-No. 1 North Carolina, but after a double overtime victory over the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos and a 89-70 loss to the Wichita St. Shockers on Sunday, they are the first team out of the poll.

There are no Pac-12 teams in this week's poll, but the 8-0 Harvard Crimson did join the poll at No. 25.
