The Colorado Avalanche finished off their eight game homestand in style, winning four of the last five games over some fairly stiff competition. The main reason? 20 year old center Ryan O`Reilly, who has absolutely blossomed into a quality two-way player this season.
↵O'Reilly scored four goals and three assists in the past three games, and was the Avalanche's best player in the past two games. In recognition of his efforts, he was just named the league's Second Star of the week.
