2011 Sun Bowl Score: Georgia Tech Takes 24-10 Lead Over Utah

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have taken a 24-10 lead over the Utah Utes in the 2011 Sun Bowl. With less than five minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Yellow Jackets had its first lead, 17-10, but then the Utes looked to be in business with a 69-yard kickoff return. However, Utes quarterback Jon Hays followed that with an interception into the hands of Quayshawn Nealy, who returned the ball 75 yards for the touchdown.

Justin Moore, who had missed his first two field goal attempts, connected on a 32-yard field goal about five minutes into the quarter, tying the game at 10. Six minutes later, Tevin Washington threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Hill. Washington is 5-of-5 for 96 yards.
