Georgia Tech Vs. Utah Score, Sun Bowl 2011: Georgia Tech Ties Game At 7 In 2nd Quarter

After the Utah Utes took an early 7-0 lead against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the 2011 Sun Bowl, the rest of the quarter was an exchange of punts punctured by a Georgia Tech fumble by Tevin Washington. But Utah wound up punting on that possession, setting up Georgia Tech's score in the second quarter.

The Yellow Jackets used a concerted running attack to put the ball into the end zone. Washington, Preston Lyons and Embry Peeples each picked up decent yardage on the drive, but it was Lyons who finished off the drive. He had a 36 yard rush to tie put the first Georgia Tech touchdown on the board. The Yellow Jackets had missed a field goal earlier in the first quarter.
