New Hampshire Vs. Montana State Score: Bobcats Down, 19-16, At Halftime To Wildcats

The Montana State Bobcats are going to need a second-half comeback if they want to beat the New Hampshire Wildcats and advance to the quarterfinals of the 2011 FCS Playoffs. They got a head start on that by scoring a touchdown with 25 seconds left in the first half. They are down by a field goal, 19-16, at halftime.

The Wildcats opened up a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on a Mike McArthhur field goal and a DeNarius McGhee interception that was returned for a 58-yard touchdown return. But Jason Cunningham put the Bobcats on the board with a 41-yard field goal with 12:43 left in the first half. It would take until the final six minutes of the half for Montana State to put another score on the board. McGhee threw a 11-yard touchdown pass to Tray Robinson, but the extra-point was blocked and then returned for a two-point defensive conversion.

Kevin Decker threw his first touchdown pass of the game with three minutes left in the second quarter, putting the Wildcats up, 19-9. But McGhee scored on a two-yard run with 25 seconds left to keep the Bobcats in the game before the start of halftime.
