The No. 4 Montana Grizzlies have shown after the first quarter that they are ready to make a run through the 2011 FCS Playoffs. They hold a 17-0 lead over the Central Arkansas Bears.
The Grizzlies got on the board first with a Brody McKnight 31-yard field goal on the opening drive of the game. A few drives later, Central Arkansas lost the ball on a Jackie Hinton fumble, which eventually led to a Jordan Johnson touchdown pass and a 10-0 lead.
Central Arkansas' Nathan Dick brought the Bears to Montana's 27-yard line, but then he threw an interception that came at the nine-yard line and moved back to the seven-yard line. Johnson and company led the team down the field for a 93-yard scoring drive. Peter Nguyen finished the drive with a two-yard touchdown run. Wide receiver Antwon Moutra had a key 41-yard pass on that play.
