Avalanche Vs. Wild Score Update: Colorado And Minnesota Tied At 2 Heading Into 3rd Period

The Avalanche picked up the pace at the offensive end in second period, outshooting the Wild 12-5 and evening the score at two in the process. Colorado's first goal of the period was scored on the power play by Ryan O'Reilly at 10:34. Minnesota regained the lead less than 90 seconds later on a goal by Cal Clutterbuck. Minnesota took advantage of a turnover by the Avs in their defensive zone to pick up that goal.

Colorado pulled even for the second time at the 18:58 mark on a goal by Gabriel Landeskog.

The Avalanche did a much better job of staying out of the penalty box, while Minnesota was whistled for three minor penalties in the second period.
