College Basketball Rankings: Syracuse Near Unanimous No. 1 In Coaches Poll

The Syracuse Orange remained the No. 1 team in the Coaches Poll and received 30 of 31 first-place votes. The Ohio St. Buckeyes took No. 2 in the poll and the other first-place vote. The remainder of the top eight remained unchanged, while the Xavier Musketeers dropped from No. 9 to No. 15 with a loss to Oral Roberts over the weekend.

The Marquette Golden Eagles benefited from this by moving up one spot from No. 11 to No. 10. They had a victory over the N. Colorado Bears on Saturday.

The California Golden Bears and the Stanford Cardinal were the closest Pac-12 teams to enter the Top 25, but the schools received just 28 and 9 points, respectively. The Mountain West's San Diego St. Aztecs received 32 votes to be the No. 26 team this week.
