The Colorado Buffaloes are coming off of a disappointing 65-54 home loss to the Wyoming Cowboys last Friday night, and will be looking to get back in the win column vs. the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners. It's hard to imagine them having picked a better opponent, as the Roadrunners (5-5) are on a four game losing streak, which continued on Saturday with a 28-point road loss to the Idaho Vandals.
CSU Bakersfield is led by junior guard Issiah Grayson, who is averaging 11.3 points and 5 assists per game on the year to go along with 42.9% shooting from downtown. But Grayson is the only Roadrunner to average double digit points per game, and as a team they're only putting up 68 points a game on the season. A large part of that is likely due to the Roadrunners' distinct lack of ability to rebound— the team's leader (Rashad Savage) only averages 7.4 boards a game, and as a team the Roadrunners' 31 rebounds per game is good for 314th in the country.
