Utah State Vs. Ohio, 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl: Aggies Enter 4th Quarter With 23-17 Lead Over Bobcats

After a mostly moribund first half between the Ohio Bobcats and the Utah State Aggies in the 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the second half has turned into a lively game with four scores in the third quarter alone. The Aggies lead the Bobcats, 23-17, as the game enters the fourth quarter.

Utah State scored nearly three minutes into the third quarter on a Michael Smith 63-yard run. But Ohio answered back less than three minutes later with a field goal. The fireworks picked up after that field with Smith running for another touchdown, this one an 11-yard score. A couple of minutes later, Ohio quarter back Tyler Tettleton found LaVon Brazill for a 44-yard touchdown, putting the game at its current 23-17 score.

Brazill has six catches for 88 yards, but Smith's 153 rushing yards on11 caries make up the top performance of the game so far.
