2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Halftime Score: Aggies Hold Tight 9-7 Lead Over Bobcats

The Utah State Aggies are in a tight battle with the Ohio Bobcats in the 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, leading at halftime, 9-7. The Aggies had a chance to take a five-point lead late in the second quarter, but kicker Josh Thompson pushed a 39-yard field goal attempt to the right.

After the Aggies put nine points on the board in the first quarter by way of a safety and a touchdown throw, the Bobcats answered back in the second quarter. Tyler Tettleton completed a seven-play, 56-yard drive with a 26-yard pass to Derek Roback, drawing the game to within two points.

Utah State running back Robert Turbin has had a quiet first half, picking up just 43 yards on 12 carries.

Maybe there will be a shootout in the second quarter since the first half was quite boring.
