College Football Rankings, Week 12: FCS Poll Sees Montana State Move To No. 1

The Montana St. Bobcats have vaulted to No. 1 in the latest Sports Network/Fathead FCS Top 25 poll, the first time in school history this has happened in the media poll. The Bobcats were off this weekend and will face the new No. 7 team, the Montana Grizzlies. They can win the Big Sky outright with a victory to improve to 10-1.

The Sam Houston St. Bearkats are 10-0 and the No. 2 team in the country. The Georgia Southern Eagles checked in at No. 3 with a 9-1 record. They actually received one vote in the AP Top 25 poll for FBS teams. Previously No. 1, the North Dakota St. Bison lost to the Youngstown St. Penguins, 27-24, on Saturday.

The Portland St. Vikings entered the top 25 at No. 25 with a 7-3 record. They defeated Northern Colorado on Saturday, 23-17.
