Kellen Moore has the Boise St. Broncos in a 16-0 lead over the Fresno St. Bulldogs after the first quarter of play. The Broncos defense forced a quick three-and-out for the Bulldogs' offense, allowing Kellen Moore his first chance to put points on the board.
Wide receiver Geraldo Boldewijn caught an 11-yard pass on the second play of the drive, but it was Moore's 48-yard pass Matt Miller that propelled the Broncos to a touchdown. Moore found Miller for a four-yard touchdown a couple of plays later.

The Broncos were denied and kicked Dan Goodale kicked a shaky 32-yard field goal. He hit the left upright and saw the ball travel to the right.
Fresno State then had a costly fumble on a run, which Boise State recovered. Mitch Burroughs ran an end-around for a 25-yard touchdown run. Goodale, thought, missed the extra point.
