Big Sky Football Schedule, Week 9: Northern Colorado Still Seeking 1st Win; Montana State Hosts Idaho State

The Northern Colorado Bears have had a long season and it could be an even longer one after Saturday afternoon should the team fall to 0-9. They will face the North Dakota Fighting Sioux at 1:35 p.m. Mt at home in Nottingham Field. North Dakota, an FCS independent, is 4-3 and coming off of a 23-19 loss to the Cal Poly Mustangs. Earnest Collins Jr. will likely need to wait for a different week to pick up his first win at his alma mater.

Here's the rest of the schedule:

Idaho St. Bengals (2-6) vs. Montana State Bobcats (7-1) 12:05 p.m. MT: The Bobcats are 5-0 in conference play and look to remain at the top for the conference championship. In 2010, the Bobcats pulled out a 23-20 overtime win against the Bengals.

Weber St. Wildcats (3-4) vs. Montana Grizzlies (6-2), 1:00 p.m. MT: Despite the losing record, the Wildcats are 3-1 in conference play. Still, the Grizzlies shouldn't have a tough time in this game.

Portland St. Vikings (4-3) vs. Eastern Washington Eagles (4-4), 2:05 p.m. MT: Can Bo Levi Mitchell lead the Eagles to a victory on Saturday to put his team above .500?

Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (2-5) vs. Sacramento St. Hornets (3-4), 7:05 p.m. MT: The Lumberjacks have lost three in a row, but two of those losses came against the Montana schools.
