College Football Rankings Week 9: Montana State Takes No. 4 In FCS Coaches Top 25 Poll

The FCS Coaches Top 25 poll has joined in with the Sports Network's Top 25 FCS poll by keeping Georgia Southern as the No. 1 team in the country. They received 27 out of 28 first-place votes, the other one going to No. 2 Northern Iowa. North Dakota State moved two spots from No. 5 to No. 3. The Montana State Bobcats dropped one spot to No. 4. Appalachian State moved up one place to No. 5.

The Montana Grizzlies are the only other team from the Big Sky Conference to make it into the Top 25 with Montana State. They are the No. 8 team this week, a move up of one spot.

There could be a shakeup in the polls next week after Georgia Southern and Appalachian State clash on Saturday. Also, North Dakota State and Northern Iowa play each other. Montana State, on the other hand, has an easier time by playing Idaho State. Could there be a new No. 1 team next Monday?
