College Football Rankings Week 9: Boise State Moves Back To No. 5 In Coaches Poll

The Boise St. Broncos had a tough game against the Air Force Falcons, but they prevailed, 37-26. While there was some though that the Broncos would still fall after the loss, the latest USA Today Coaches poll has moved them back to No. 5 just one week after being the No. 7 team.

The previously No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners lost to Texas Tech and moved to No. 9 this week. LSU moved up to No. 1 and is followed by Alabama, Stanford and Oklahoma State. The Wisconsin Badgers were No. 4, but they dropped to No. 11 with a loss to now No. 10 Michigan State.

No other Mountain West teams appeared in the Coaches Poll.
