BCS Rankings Week 9 Projections: Expect A Shakeup With Oklahoma Falling

Look for a different top 10 in the latest BCS rankings as Oklahoma and Wisconsin fell from the unbeaten ranks.

Saturday was supposed to not feature any big upsets among the throng of unbeaten teams, with the big game next week between the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide ready to shake the standings; however two highly ranked teams were bit by the upset bug. The Texas Tech Red Raiders pulled of the upset over the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners, 41-38. The score was not as close as the actual outcome. Then the No. 6 ranked Wisconsin Badgers choked away a 14-0 lead to only lose on a Hail Mary that had to be reviewed against No. 16 Michigan St. Spartans.

With Boise State struggling to defeat the Air Force Falcons it is expected that Boise State will drop behind Clemson and Stanford.

The top 10 will certainly have a new look today and here is what the BCS Guru thinks the top 15 will look like:

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma State
4. Clemson
5. Stanford
6. Boise State
7. Arkansas
8. Kansas State
9. Oregon
10. Oklahoma
11. Nebraska
12. Michigan State
13. Wisconsin
14. South Carolina
15. Virginia Tech

Even with Oklahoma losing, the Boise St. Broncos are not going to move up, but actually drop due to Clemson and Stanford getting a big jump, most likely from the computer rankings.
