It's almost axiomatic to many that the New York media is tougher on its players than other cities are on their own. But not so for former New York Giants quarterback and current CBS football analyst. As he answered a question in the Denver Post about this:
↵↵↵As a matter of fact, I would consider the sports press that covers the Broncos more difficult on the players than the press that covers New York. I think that's true in a lot of cities.

Maybe Simms is right about this--being a quarterback in New York would certainly give him more perspective on it. So much emphasis is given to the East Coast bias that New York naturally tops that list. Denver, obviously is left in that forgotten time zone.
