College Football Rankings 2011: LSU Stays No. 1 In AP Poll

The LSU Tigers kept their No. 1 ranking in the AP poll and the Wisconsin Badgers made a big jump after easily defeating the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Wisconsin moved from the No. 7 spot to the No. 4 spot and jumped Boise State and Stanford in the process even though both teams had an impressive victories. Boise fell to No. 5 and Stanford to No. 7.

The TCU Horned Frogs fell out completely and did not earn any votes after losing to the SMU Mustangs. Air Force who is receiving votes in the USA Today coaches poll is not receiving any votes in the AP poll. The Oregon Ducks stayed at No. 9 in their bye week and the Arizona St. Sun Devils moved up to No. 22 from No. 25 after they defeated the Oregon St. Beavers.
