College Football Rankings 2011: Oklahoma Remains No. 1 In Coaches Poll

Oklahoma retains their top spots in the Coaches poll.

The USA Today Coaches Poll is out and Oklahoma Soomers retain the top spot, but they do lose some ground as the Alabama Crimson Tide gained 14 first-place votes and Oklahoma lost five. The Boise St. Broncos were jumped by the Wisconsin Badgers impressive win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and fell to the No. 6 spot.

Fellow Mountain West team TCU Horned Frogs dropped completely out of the rankings after being upset by the SMU Mustangs in overtime, 40-33. The Air Force Falcons are still receiving votes and improved from one point last week to three this week after their overtime win over rival the Navy Midshipman, 35-34 in overtime.

The Stanford Cardinal remained at the No. 4 spot after defeating the UCLA Bruins 45-19, the Oregon Ducks moved up to the No. 9 spot while being idle and the Arizona St. Sun Devils moved into the poll after defeating the Oregon St. Beavers 35-20.
