Nuggets Vs. Cavaliers Preview: Denver Hopes To Continue Winning Ways On Road

Who said the Denver Nuggets can't win on the road? After sweeping the first two games of their five-game road trip, the Nuggets head to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cavs hold the NBA's worst record at 8-37 and have lost 18 in a row, and 28 of their last 29 games. This all is good news for the Nuggets, who need a good showing on the road trip, but are only 7-13 away from the Pepsi Center.

When the two teams met earlier this month in Denver, three Nuggets scored 20-plus points, with Nene contributing a game high 22, followed by Chauncey Billups' and Arron Afflalo's 21 apiece.  In that game Carmelo Anthony was held to 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field.

Cleveland is led by Antawn Jamison's 17.1 points per game and Anderson Varejao's 9.7 rebounds a game.

This game will be a quick stop home for the Cavs, who are returning from the three-game road trip, before they head out for two more away from home.

Another Eastern Time Zone game means another early start. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. MT and can be seen on Altitude.
