College basketball Rankings: No. 4 San Diego State Remains Undefeated

The latest AP Top 25 Poll poll for college basketball came out, and the San Diego St. Aztecs moved up from No. 6 to No. 4, remaining undefeated with a 20-0 record. They defeated the Air Force Falcons, 68-55, last Wednesday before having the weekend off. On Wednesday, they travel to the No. 9 BYU Cougars (19-1). BYU's Jimmer Fredette will give his best to send the Aztecs from the ranks of the undefeated. The Cougars remained in the same spot for a second week in a row after beating the TCU Horned Frogs and the Colorado Sta. Rams last week.

The Ohio St. Buckeyes (20-0) are the only other undefeated team remaining, and they retained their No. 1 ranking in the AP Poll. After a close win against No. 20 Illinois, the Buckeyes face the No. 12 Purdue Boilermakers on Tuesday night. The Pittsburgh Panthers and the Duke Blue Devils moved to No. 2 and No. 3, each receiving a first-place vote. The Connecticut Huskies finished at No. 5.

The Kansas Jayhawks dropped from No. 2 to No. 6 following their loss to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday. Texas moved from No. 10 to No. 7. The Syracuse Orange dropped from No. 3 to No. 9 following their loss to the now No. 7 Villanova Wildcats.

The Colorado Buffaloes lost games to the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Oklahoma Sooners last week, losing all the votes they received in the previous results. They face Kansas on Tuesday.
