The Colorado Rockies have traded for Los Angeles RHP Octavio Dotel in exchange for a player to be named later.
Dotel began the season as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, but was acquired at the trade deadline for two Dodger prospects.
While Dotel will not be playoff eligible this season, he is under contract for the 2011 campaign.
